How to get to ZeM (Brandenburg Center for Media Studies)?

The first day (Wednesday October 14, 2015) of the conference takes place in ZeM in Potsdam. This is to show you how to get there.

Where is ZeM?

ZeM is located in Friedrich-Ebert-Str. 4, 14467 Potsdam.

It is in walking distance (around 750m) from Potsdam Hauptbahnhof (main station). Please see this map.

When you arrive at Potsdam main station exit the station in the direction of the city center (Zentrum). Follow the big road with the tramway. You should cross a bridge. From the bridge you should be able to see one of Potsdam's highest buildings, "Mercure Hotel." If you can see this, your are looking in the right direction. Follow the road on its right side. Mercure Hotel should be one the left side of the road. Opposite of the hotel you should then also be able to see the building shown in the image below (please click on the image to enlarge). In the very right corner of the image you can even see parts of the Mercure Hotel. Please beware the photo is taken from another angle than you will arrive from.

Go left (clockwise) around the building and then follow its long side (which at this point should be on your right hand side). If you follow the long side of this building you will see the old socialist cubical building in which ZeM is located. Please click on the image to enlarge:

Once you arrive at the corner of this building you should see a sign "GALERIE". Please click on the image to enlarge:
