García Martín is a research of the group Visu@ls( http://visualcultureidentities.net/ ) and holds a M.A in Fine Arts and now is a Ph. Dcandidate with a dissertation about video games as artistic process. She also ismember of ARSGAMES.

She has organized and participated as a speaker in various conferences relatedwith art and new technologies. Parallel to his academic activity, she draws comicsand work as a plastic artist.

Ruth

María Rubio Méndez member of ARSGAMES and coordinator of the

GAMESTAR(T) project, has a degree in Philosophy from the University of Valencia.She completed the Master in Secondary School Teacher Training at theComplutense University of Madrid, in the course of which she wrote a master thesison pedagogical innovation. She has also received the interuniversity Master´sdegree in Logic and Philosophy of Science, where she specialized in the field ofScience, Technology and Society, focusing mainly on philosophy of technology,gender and videogames. She is currently writing her PhD thesis on this researchfield.

José Iván San José Vieco is Computer Engineering and Graduated in

Computer Engineering, Master Studies in Building and Digital Home and MasterStudies in Advanced Computer Technologies. Currently studying a PhD inAdvanced Computer Technology. Member of Autolog Group( http://autolog.uclm.es ) and The Spanish Association of Tracking and Tracing“SETra” ( http://www.rfidspain.org ).

He has experience in research projects of: SMA (Multiagent Systems), Trackingand tracing, dynamic industrial environments, RFID, Web Services and Internet ofthings.He also has experience in developing and maintaining web pages.

Joaquín Siabra Fraile is a Philosophy Graduate and a Computer Science

Engineer (UPM). He works at the high Council of Scientific Research as aSoftware Developer in different interdisciplinary projects in the fields of Philologyand Social Science.

As an author he has published several articles on new technologies and society,mostly on the videogame as a virtual world (L. Cuddy (ed.) “The Legend of Zeldaand Philosophy“. OpenCourt Publishing. Oct. 2008; Compagno, D., Coppock, P.(eds.), Computer Games. Between Text and Practice, serie speciale della rivistadell’Associazione Italiana di Studi Semiotici. Anno III, n. 5 2009). He spoke aboutthe ontology of the videogame at various congresses, and organized the congressCibersofía: Filosofía del Arte digital (Mar. 2008) in the Facultad de Filosofía yLetras (UAM).

Anke Schröder is Instructional Designer (University Freiburg 2008) and member

of ARSGAMES.

Currently she is about to finish her Master Studies in development and creation ofvideogames, with the aim to investigate and develop educational/edutainmentvideogames. The focus is on the perspectives and advantages of videogameslinked with cognitive science, motivational and creativity processes.
