Research interests relevant to game philosophy	I’m currently writing up my dissertation, entitled “Bernard Suits’ Utopia of Gameplay: A Critical Analysis”, under the joint supervision of Jon Pike and Alex Barber. The main theoretical contributions of the work will be a delimitation of the conceptual space that utopian games can occupy (by definition); an account of what existentially meaningful gameplay is; and an analysis of why physiological fixity must ground all sports activities, utopian or otherwise. I’m also conducting research on what Hurka and Bradford have to say about the ‘goods’ of difficulty and achievement.
